Cultural Resources Department

The Hualapai Nation’s Department of Cultural Resources is the lead agency for the identification, protection, preservation, and management of the cultural resources within Hualapai tribal lands and on Hualapai traditional-use lands.  

In support of its mission, the Cultural Resources Department does the following:

  • Cultural compliance for Section 106 Work Clearance Projects on and off the reservation
  • Cultural exchange programs and outreach
  • Arts and language revitalization programs
  • Historic preservation programs
  • Federal/Tribal consultation program for Section 106
  • State/Local government program consultation
